Background

GIR's concept for pursuing medical accounts receivable was borne out of years of experience in the insurance industry and legal field by GIR's principals; Carlos Plana and Robert N. Pelier, Esq. Mr. Plana and Mr. Pelier realized that medical providers would benefit from a comprehensive effort whereby aggressive insurance claim procedures supplemented by legal knowledge and action would together provide results. For years, there has been a disconnect between the billing stages of the claim and subsequent activity to secure payment of outstanding medical account receivables.

Robert N. Pelier

Robert N. PelierMr. Pelier has over sixteen years of insurance litigation experience in the State and Federal courts of Florida.

He has received an "AV" peer review rating by Martindale Hubbell and is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the American Bar Association.
He is the founder and managing partner of the Law Offices of Robert N. Pelier, P.A.

Mr. Pelier has been admitted to the New York and Florida Bar since 1994 when he received his Juris Doctorate from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1993.

 
Carlos A. Plana

Carlos A. PlanaMr. Plana is a licensed Florida Public Adjuster and has extensive knowledge of Florida PIP Statute, case law and insurance policy analysis.

He has testified throughout the State of Florida as a corporate representative in the defense of claims for insurers.
Mr. Plana has previously acted as a corporate representative for United Automobile Insurance Company and Bristol West Insurance Group for litigation matters.

Mr. Plana has over nineteen years of experience in Claims Adjusting, Surplus lines, Commercial General Liability and Underwriting.
He specializes in Florida No Fault Coverage (PIP) and commands over ten years in PIP management experience for insurers such as Onyx Insurance Group and Bristol West Insurance Group.
